It is just past the intersection of Needmore and Saundersville Rd. There is a boat launch there. You can put your boat into the water there and then tie up at our private dock during your stay. Do note that the water level in our cove does vary and can be shallow if there has not been much rain (even if the rest of the lake is at normal level). It usually sits between 3-4 feet but can get as low as 18 inches- 2 feet. If you have a large boat, parking it at our dock may not work. Hammocks, yard games, Adirondack chairs Sun loungers and a patio with umbrella Note: Direct waterfront access, mindful for non-swimmers Available Amenities: Everything in-house accessible (except the locked owner’s closet) Communication: Easy app contact; local support available if needed Connectivity: Fiber internet, limited cell service Baby gear included! - pack and play, high chair and booster seat, retractable gate for the interior stairs. Other Details to Note

We are lakefront and there is no barrier between the yard and the water. Please be aware of this when booking with small children or others who cannot swim. There is fiber internet at the house, however, cell service is not great (1-2 bars). Keep this in mind if you anticipate needing to make a lot of phone calls (texts go through just fine but calls can be a little difficult). Also, this should go without saying, but we are a house in the middle of a wooded area directly on the water. This means that despite our best pest control efforts, you might see a bug. This is to be expected and is no cause for alarm. If seeing a bug two or here will ruin your stay, this isn't the property for you. Also, we are about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. If you are visiting the area and want to be very close to downtown, then this isn’t the right fit. We have given you our exact address so that you can map the distance from the lake house to anywhere else you might want to go. Please do not book and then mark us down in your review for the location when you knew in advance exactly where we are located. We can’t change the location!

We had an amazing time during our stay! We brought our kayaks and loved being on the water! There was also a canoe on site. The house is just as pictured and very spacious for our family of 7. We were able to see wildlife right outside the windows: deer, groundhogs, etc. We were also able to watch and video a flock of geese as they graces the back yard. The hosts were so nice, helpful, and very responsive. We will definitely book again when in the area and recommend this location.

Great layout, our teens each had their own space and we could get up early to make coffee/breakfast without waking them up. Awesome porches and fire pit. Saw tons of deer and a few groundhogs. Nice dock, but check with the boat rental places first to make sure they’ll let you bring your boat there. You have to get under a low bridge to get to the house from the main lake and we had to make some changes with our rental to accommodate. Not Shannon’s fault, just a heads up!

Loved waking up to all the wildlife that frequented the yard. House was perfect for 5 guests. All the amenities in the kitchen from ice maker to coffee and toaster. The host was very responsive within minutes if we had any questions or concerns. Would consider visiting again, maybe not during a heat dome. But the house was pleasantly cooled!

We were in town for our grandson's graduation. Shannon's place was very convenient and perfect for our plans. The home is rustic, relaxing, very comfortable and cozy. We had family meals on the screened patio. The canoe was a great perk. Fishing was successful. We needed a few things during our stay and the response time was very quick. Shannon was very hospitable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon's place and I would love to stay again.

This place is great. Plenty of room. We had 7 adults & 2 children. The views are amazing from every window. Peaceful & relaxing. The porch is the best. We had our meal in (small children) and the the kitchen is adequate. We also had a tornado warning and Jamie called to tell us where to take shelter. Wish we could have stayed longer. Showers are good. Laundry good. Beds are comfy. Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed Shannon’s place so much. This was one of the best places to stay near Nashville if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place. Shannon place is very specious, very large lot that gives you plain of privacy and comfort. We loved the water view even though it was too cold for us, I’m sure this would be great as well during the Summer time. I would highly recommend Shannon’s place and plan to return as well.

Great property, very clean, private, welcoming. Owner was very easy to communicate with, answered all questions quickly. Layout worked out great. Two bedrooms downstairs for two sets of parents and a huge room upstairs for our four college students. We were about 30 minutes to all the Nashville happenings and about the same distance to the race location which is what had us in the area. Would stay again if in the area

This was a wonderful experience. We rendezvoused with high friends and totally enjoyed our stay. The house was just perfect looking down into the water. We saw deer everyday, white egrets, canadian geese and ducks. If ever back this way we will definitely book this space again.

Picturesque home with beautiful views, we loved every minute of our time with our adult children and grandchildren. We pulled up to a deer in the front yard and spotted wildlife on a regular basis. The accommodations were perfect for us - the kids took over the second floor while we enjoyed the privacy of being on the first floor. Linens for bed and bath were excellent and we slept very well after adjusting to the nighttime quiet. The family dining space on the deck was a special place to view a sunset. There were board games to play with the little ones, smart tv's in living and bedrooms on rainy days and great little fishing spots and a canoe when the weather was cooperating. With a fire pit, corn hole and a charcoal grill to top it all off, this place is incredible! The guys even took a photo with a Marilyn Monroe cut-out stored under the deck- too fun! A special thanks to our host for the thoughtfulness that went into making our time in Nashville so memorable.
